Entry Restrictions

Entry to the Competition is open to: all residents of Australia

Entrants and guests must be: 18 years or over at the date of entry

The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.

Competition Period 

Commences: Thursday 17th November 2022 12.00pm AEDT
Ends: Sunday 11th December 2022 12 Midnight AEDT Entries must be received by the Promoter prior to the competition close date and time

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.

Conditions of Entry

Eligibility to enter the Competition is subject to the Entry Restrictions. An entrant of the Competition must be an individual and not a company or organisation.

Entrants may enter the competition by scanning the QR on the Point of Sale or provided with their purchase and complete the details in the entry form. Minimum purchase 1x 4 or 6 pack of Six String Brewing Co cans from Off Premise venues or a schooner or can of Six String Brewing Co beer at On Premise venues.

Information required for entry includes:

  • Full Name
  • Email Address
  • Phone Number
  • Postcode
  • Name of Venue that beers were purchased from

 

Entrants can enter the draw as many times as they would like, in line with the quantity of purchase required for entry. Entries must be submitted separately and each entry must individually meet the requirements including minimum purchase for eligibility and are subject to the Entry Restrictions.

 

Entrants are required to take full responsibility for the content of their entry and for ensuring that their entry complies with these Terms and Conditions.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions of Entry or who has, in the opinion of Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the Promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion and/or Promoter.

Draw and Notification of Winner

 

The winner will be the first valid entry submitted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions that is drawn by Six String Brewing Co by random computer selection at 10am on Monday 12th December at Six String Brewing Co 4/5 Chiltern Road Erina NSW 2250

 

The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the competition result or any other decisions the Promoter makes in connection with the Promotion.

 

The winner will be notified by phone within 24 hours of the draw. Should they not respond they will also be emailed.

 

The prize will be awarded to the person named in the entry. However, in a dispute, will be awarded to the account holder of the email address used to submit the entry.

 

Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.

  • 4 x VIP tickets to “NYE in the Park” being held at Victoria Park, Camperdown, on December 31st 2022. VIP tickets include: Express Lane Entry, Exclusive access to the VIP Garden Lounge with private viewing area and VIP toilets, access to bar VIP bar and food

 

  • Side of stage viewing for 1 artist nominated by the prize winner

 

  • Drink tickets to be used on the day

 

  • A six String Brewing Co Merchandise pack

 

 

The winner and travelling companion are responsible for their own transport arrangements from their residence to Victoria Park and home and/or the cost of any accomodation.

 

The prize cannot be transferred, sold, exchanged or redeemed for cash.

 

Passes are only valid for the date and area specified, and are subject to any terms and conditions imposed by the venue.

Winner Notification

The winner will be notified via a phone call on Monday 12th December 2022 after 10:00 am AEDT. If the winner does not answer, subsequent attempts and alternative contact will be made via email. If the winner does not respond within a reasonable period (3 days/72 hours), the prize will be forfeited by the winner and the promoter will draw an alternative winner. If the prize winner is unable to attend or is unable to be contacted the winner will be redrawn.

Additional Terms and Conditions

By entering the Competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Any instructions relating to the Competition on the Promoter’s social media platforms form part of these Terms and Conditions.

 

Your personal information may be disclosed to authorities if you are a prize winner or otherwise as required by law.

 

Prize

 

The Prize will be awarded as specified above.

 

This prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated.

 

The Prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the relevant supplier, are in Australian dollars and are correct as at the time of the commencement of the Competition Period. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the Prize value.

 

The Promoter will not be responsible for any additional costs associated with use of the Prize. The Prize winner is responsible for all costs associated with using the Prize including (if applicable) travel and/or transfer costs, expenses with respect to food and additional beverages, travel and medical insurance costs and spending money.

No component of the Prize can be transferred or redeemed for cash.

 

If for any reason, out of our control, the event does not go ahead as planned, including due to the cancellation of the concert, alternative dates may be offered or in the case of cancellation no cash refund will be given. The Promoter is not responsible for any changes in times or dates, or cancellations or rescheduling of events that may prevent the Prize winner from redeeming the Prize or any part of it.

 

The Promoter may in its discretion refuse to award the Prize to any entrant who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

General

Any attempt to interfere with the normal functioning of the Competition including tampering with email or to otherwise undermine the legitimate operation of this Competition is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid. The Promoter will disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process or any other aspect of this competition.

If there is any event that prevents or hinders the Promoter’s conduct of the Competition or the Promoter’s ability to deliver the Prize to the Prize winner(s), the Promoter may, in its discretion, cancel the Competition and recommence it at another time under the same conditions.

 

By entering the competition You are agreeing that:

 

  1. your entry is your own, and to the extent it is not, you have obtained the relevant permission;
  2. all details provided with your entry are true and accurate;
  3. you have all necessary rights to grant the Promoter the rights granted under these Terms and Conditions;
  4. use of your entry by the Promoter, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, will not infringe the rights of any third parties; and
  5. your entry does not breach any law.

You agree to indemnify the Promoter against any loss or damage resulting from any breach of the warranties above and acknowledge that the Promoter may, in its absolute discretion, not award the Prize to you for breach of the above.

 

The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, or for any failure of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in the Competition, or for any technical error that may occur in the course of the administration of the Competition. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.

 

To the full extent permitted by the law, the Promoter will not be liable for any delay, death, injury, damages, expenses, or loss whatsoever (whether direct or consequential) to persons or property as a result of any person entering into the Competition or accepting or using any Prize, including without limitation non-receipt of any Prize or damage to any Prize in transit and the Prize winner’s failure to comply with the terms and conditions (if any) specified by any third party.

The Promoter may use your personal details provided to the Promoter and event Partners NYE in the Park for the purpose of conducting the Competition. Prize winners’ names may be published. The Promoter may also use your name, image and/or voice, as recorded, photographed or filmed during the winner’s participation in the prize for any promotional, marketing and publicity purposes of the Promoter.

 

The entrant’s names and email address will be entered into the mailout database of both the promoter and partnering promoter NYE in the Park unless requested not to, for use in future promotional, and marketing purposes. Entrants must confirm that they allow their details to be used for this purpose on the entry form. Entrants can opt out of receiving promotional material at any time. If entrants no longer consent to their details being used for future marketing purposes, wishes to update, modify or have their details deleted, the entrant should contact both the Promoter and partnering promoter.
