How It Works
Minimum Orders
We use a direct print to can which are digitally printed by the layer (368 cans / 23 cubes) with a minimum order of only 1 layer.

The Process & Timeframes
We recommend 3–4 weeks for TPA & Coastie, and 8 weeks on Session. Minimum order is 23 cubes. Cubes are 16-packs, packed into white boxes with 4 × 4-packs.

Design Your Can
An initial payment for the printing of the cans is your deposit to get the process started. The print process for cans takes a minimum of 4 weeks from ordering.
If you’re creating the artwork yourself, download the templates. If it’s a simple “logo on a can”, we can help with that, or see our design team rates for custom work.
Timeframes
Scheduling depends on tank availability. Allow 2–4 weeks for brewing where applicable.
Once a 50% deposit is paid and artwork is signed off, your run is slotted into the brewer’s schedule (around 6–8 weeks total).
The remaining invoice amount is to be paid prior to collection or delivery of finished product.
Costs & Delivery
All brews are invoiced at canning. Storage is limited — please arrange your own or discuss with us beforehand. Delivery costs vary and will appear on your final invoice. Pick up is free of charge.

FAQ
All cans must include mandatory labelling: pregnancy warning, recycling/10c barcode, ABV, 375 ml, and a “beer” descriptor on the front. Our templates include these requirements and our team will check your final artwork.
Can I sell the beer?
These beers cannot be sold unless you have all required licensing. For fundraising, ask about our affiliate program — we can provide a landing page to sell through our website.
Can I do more than one label?
The minimum order of 1 layer (23 cubes) applies per artwork. Multiple artworks require multiple minimums (e.g., 2 artworks = 2 layers / 46 cubes).
What is the shelf life?
All beers have a 9-month Best Before and are stamped with a batch number. Store cold or in a cool place out of direct sunlight to maintain quality.
I need help with the design
We provide can templates and labelling guidance. If you’d like our team to assist, additional design costs apply.
What are your design rates?
Our custom can design service starts at a flat $150 design fee, which includes the initial layout plus up to two rounds of adjustments (not a full redesign). A co-packing fee of $15 ex GST per cube also applies. We will guide you through the process so your artwork looks spot on when it hits the can.
Do you offer other beer styles or bigger volume options?
Absolutely. If you are looking for a different style or a higher volume production just reach out to us and we will walk you through what is possible.
Who owns the recipe?
Recipe ownership remains with Six String unless otherwise agreed in writing.
How is storage handled?
Storage is limited. Please arrange your own storage; if you would like us to arrange storage this must be agreed prior to ordering and fees apply.
What timelines should I plan for?
Allow roughly 6–8 weeks in total from artwork sign-off and deposit (typically 3–4 weeks minimum for can runs plus 3–4 weeks to fit the brewer’s schedule). We will do our best but cannot guarantee exact dates due to external factors.
Will cube counts be exact?
We allow extra cans to cover canning wastage. Minimums are fulfilled unless extenuating circumstances; you may receive a small surplus above the minimum.
