Hops dominate the aroma with a resiny, citrus smell which comes from numerous late hop additions, Caramel and chocolate malts that give a velvety red colour, balance the heavy hopping of the beer giving it a balanced sweetness to bitterness ratio.

Dark Red IPA Carton Purchase

It's a good tasting beer which I'd rate at 4.5 stars if the option was there. I like that the mouth feel is slightly creamy and bitterness doesn't linger. Happy to support the locals and I'll be back with a couple of mates for a Tap session. Cheers

Loved this beer, very easy to drink (maybe too easy). Great flavour and hoppiness.

Best IPA in Australia. Tried to find better, failed.

Sensational IPA. Had no idea how good it was, bought it from the local bottle shop for the cool Six String name. Was blown away by the great rich taste.

I've tried to find another beer like it in VIC and other parts of Australia, but failed. Might have to go for a road trip to visit.

Dark red IPA has had a very special place in my beer-based heart for years. It has a beautiful tang, solid body, a touch of sweetness and some moreish fizz. The double IPA goes down a treat too, (just in smaller quanties). Would highly highly recommend.
