Five ~ The Dinner, is an intimate pre-launch dinner for our 5th Anniversary Ale 'Five'. This is an exclusive event with very limited tickets for a small number of people.
Renowned and sought after Chef, Pauly Mac, who has over 25 years experience from all over the world, will be preparing a special fine dining menu for the event and serving this, paired with our 5 Anniversary Ales from the last 5 years.
This will be the last time any of these beers may be had, particularly all at the one time as the last of the bottles known to us will be used.
'One' (2014)~ Now aged for over 5 years this Double IPA is at it's peak of flavour.
'Two' (2015)~ Brewed to no one style with American hops and Belgian yeast the flavours have mellowed and developed over time.
'Three' (2016) ~ A Wee Heavy Scottish Ale, this is a rich malty dessert like beer which has been enhanced over time.
'Four' (2017) ~ A Belgian Tripel that while it has aged only over 18 months it's complex flavours make for an interesting beer.
'Five' (2018) ~ The hero of the night our Barrel Aged Imperial Stout has been sitting in Whiskey barrels over winter soaking in all the wood and whiskey flavours. This beer will not be released for sale until the following week so this is the first chance for anyone to get both a taste on the night and a bottle to take home.
This will be an exclusive dinner set amongst the tanks with our brewers sharing their knowledge of each brew and walking you through the beers for the night.
Cost is $120 and is strictly limited, this includes the degustation dinner, with beers on arrival and the 5 anniversary ales with Pauly Mac's menu as well as a bottle of 'Five' to take home.
